Statement of Need/Program Overview

Within the space of just a few years, several new retinal treatments have been approved promising increased durability and better patient outcomes. These conditions can significantly impact vision and quality of life for patients. This on-demand webcast will review the latest research into these new therapies as well as current management approaches. An accompanying P&T Committee Support Tool will also be available for download, and throughout the session, these expert faculty members will demonstrate how to integrate this resource into practice.

Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

Evaluate new evidence-based approaches with extended dosing intervals aimed at improving patient outcomes in AMD and DR/DME through timely interventions
Recommend recent AMD and DR/DME clinical updates for use in managed care strategies and treatment protocols for extended dosing and improved care delivery
Outline the successful implementation of payer best practice strategies in eldercare for AMD and DR/DME to improve patient outcomes
